Understand

We start with your space, your priorities and what you're hoping to change. We'll talk through the work, look at what you're starting with, and identify the practical questions that need answering before anything begins.

Make a plan

Once the scope is clear, we work out what needs to happen, in what order, and what needs to address. That can include sourcing materials and suppliers and helping you understand the practical implications of the choices you're making.

Get to work

This is where plans become walls, floors, kitchens, bathrooms and all the details in between. Ollia coordinates the work, keeps an eye on quality and solves the inevitable surprises that come with renovating an existing home.

Make it home

We finish the details, make sure the work is complete and leave you with a space that's ready to be lived in. And if something comes up later, you know who to call.

THE START

A couple relocating from California to l’écusson bought a large garden apartment that needed a lot of love…and needed to be done before they arrived to France.

THE WORK

Ollia counciled the clients over several weeks and built a plan to get the apartment livable when the arrived including demolition, flooring, wall repair and important electrical and plumbing fixes.

THE RESULT

Not only a livable space, but a gorgeous one. Ready to receive the new owners and their two dogs.

A few of the things people usually want to know before taking on a renovation.

  • We work on substantial renovations ranging from individual rooms to full homes and apartments. If you're not sure whether your project is the right fit, get in touch and tell us a little about it.

  • As early as you can. Larger renovations require time for planning, scheduling, materials and coordinating. Even if you're still working out exactly what you want to do, an early conversation can help establish what's realistic.

  • No. You should have a sense of what you'd like to change, but you don't need to arrive with a finished scope of work. Part of our job is helping you understand what the project will require.

  • Ollia isn't an interior design studio, but we're happy to offer practical guidance around materials, products and decisions that affect the renovation itself. If your project requires specialist design or architectural services, we can help you understand when those need to be involved.

  • For larger projects, we can. Ollia can coordinate with other specialists when necessary so the work happens in the right order.

  • Yes. We can help navigate local suppliers, materials and practical sourcing decisions related to the work and even help receive shipments.
